Product Title

Hinge Mortise Template Jig for Wooden Doors with Adjustable Router Guide and Drill Bit Set for Precise Door Hardware Installation

Product Description

Achieving a clean, professional hinge mortise on a wooden door no longer requires years of carpentry experience or steady hands of a surgeon. This hinge mortise template jig transforms a fiddly, error-prone task into a straightforward, repeatable process that even first-time installers can master. The hollow rectangular frame sits flat against the door edge, while the integrated clamping knobs and adjustable limit blocks lock the template firmly in place. Once secured, you simply run a trimmer or drill through the guide slots to cut hinge pockets with consistent depth and alignment. The template accommodates standard door hinges ranging from 3 to 5 inches in length, with varied thicknesses and corner styles, making it a versatile companion for door replacement, new installations, or hardware upgrades. Whether you are fitting a fresh interior door or retrofitting an existing one, this tool helps you measure twice, cut once without the guesswork. The engineering plastic body keeps the unit lightweight yet rigid, while the metal drill bits and fasteners deliver the durability needed for repeated jobs. Multiple color options let you match your workshop aesthetic or spot the template easily on a cluttered bench. From hinge mortising to latch plate alignment, this jig keeps every cut crisp, centered, and ready for hardware. It is an essential addition for anyone who values precision without the premium price of professional-grade fixtures.

Important Notes

This hinge mortise template is a woodworking positioning aid and does not provide any therapeutic or medical benefits. Always follow safe tool handling practices.

The template is designed for use with a trimmer or drill; ensure the router bit or drill bit is properly secured before operation.

Clamp the template firmly to the door edge before cutting. Any movement may result in a misaligned mortise.

Check hinge size and corner style against the template opening before routing. Not all specialty hinges are compatible.

Clean sawdust and debris from the guide slots after each use to maintain smooth operation and accurate cuts.
